Is the Guaya-Force powerful enough to grate the harder Yautia, Yucca, etc?

Yes!  It is specifically made to handle any type of verdura used to make pasteles.  It has a powerful half horse power motor with an aluminum roller delivering 3,450 RPM.  The previous model that used to be sold in PR (which is no longer made) came with a lesser quarter horse power motor--making the Guaya-Force twice as powerful!  In addition to powerful home use,       Guaya-Force is ideal for constant grating of large quantities.


Does it come in different colors?

No.  In order to keep your Guaya-Force price as low as possible we can only offer the color that is featured in our photos.

Is the Guaya-Force sold new or used?

All are sold new!  We make them with all new parts and motors!  You will have some scratches to the orange paint on the motor--This is normal as it is due to our assembly process since the motors we get come pre-painted.  We don't re-paint the motors again in order to offer Guaya-Force at our amazingly low internet price.

Is Guaya-Force sold in stores or anywhere else?

How is the Guaya-Force packed to ship?

Your machine will ship out within 3 working days after your order, longer if back ordered, heavy volume or if stated on the welcome page. We pack it in a 18"Long x 10"Deep x 10"High box.  It is protected by a plastic cover sorrounded in packing peanuts and foam squares.

How much does it weigh for shipping?

It weighs 21 Lbs when it is packed for shipping.

Does it come with a warranty?

Guaya-Force is a high quality guayadora that is made to last years and years.  We personally test your Guaya-Force before shipping it to you to insure everything is working perfectly.
After receiving your Guaya-Force order, if it doesn't function you must contact us within 3 days.  Refund will be given as item exchange only.  We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of you receiving a defective Guaya-Force for USA and Puerto Rico orders.  There is no warranty beyond this.  We do offer replacement parts and repair service if you ever need it in the future.

How do you clean the Guaya-Force?

Must clean after every use to maintain optimal performance.  Unplug Guaya-Force from electricity.  Remove the top stainless steel tray/tunnel.  Wash tray/tunnel as you would any dishes.  The aluminum roller is not removable so you can clean it using a brush with dish soap and wipe it or rinse it off carefully using your sink hose.  When you re-attach the top tray/tunnel, you must tighten the wing nuts to hold it in place securely.  If you don't tighten the wing nuts, it will cause a loud noise from the roller hitting a side of the tray's tunnel when you turn on the Guaya-Force.
